2019 Rascal Pinot Gris

Tasting Notes
The nose displays perfectly ripe flavors of pear and melon, but there is a fleshy peach component that adds a nice dimension to the nose. There is a touch of brioche and toast that suggest lees contact and added richness. Minerality is represented by the wet pavement, a stony character both on the nose and the palate. Dry and savory, this refreshing white is well balanced and offers a ton of grace and value for this price category.
Winemaker Notes
The grapes for this wine are sourced from the Willamette Valley AVA in Oregon. Warm sunny days and cool nights allow for the grapes to ripen to maturity while maintaining balanced acidity. Once picked, the grapes underwent a cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the aromas and flavors.
