Bright and clean in the glass this chardonnay reminds us of Lemon drops and Banana Cream Pie. Citrus Fruit and Guava greet the nose creating an intense aromatic vacation of a tropical island. With medium acidity and medium body, the palate has a quick and crisp finish, with lemon curd and tropical fruit notes. This Chardonnay would be great as a daily drinker or paired well with spicy meals or salads.

This 2018 Willamette Valley Chardonnay is bright and summery. Aged 10 months on the lees gives this Chardonnay the yeasty, savory quality with some tropical fruit notes on the palate. Neutral oak barrels were used in production.
2018 was a great year to make wine. We had very little disease pressure. It did not rain, and it was a warm and ripe vintage. The warm growing season helped the Willamette valley ripen nicely creating bright fruit with rich smooth tannins. One issue with the warm vintage was the grapes were sugar ripe before becoming phenolic ripe. Meaning the alcohol and fruit would be out of balance in the finished wine. We had to take great care to balance the picking date with enough hang time to achieve flavor ripeness but not allow the alcohol to be too high.
