Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
The 2020 release of our Willamette Valley Pinot Noir presents a deep ruby color with bright pink rim. In the glass aromas of vibrant black cherry mingle with notes of molasses and caramel while hints of iris and spearmint add depth and complexity. On the palate, crisp and bright black cherry leads to hints of earth and forest floor. The moderate tannin and acidity bring balance and a velvety texture to the finish.
Vineyard Notes
Multiple high-quality sites throughout Oregon contribute to a well-balanced palate and complex nose. We use multiple sites to create the best representation of Oregon Pinot Noir. By using vineyard sites of different aspects, we are able to build a wine with structure and beauty.
Production Notes
Destemmed into stainless steel fermentation vessels, Cold soak time between 3 and 5 days for extraction of color and flavor, kept at low temperatures to promote flavor development and increase complexity. The wine saw oak contact during malolactic fermentation to develop structural balance, while maintaining true expression of the fruit.

Barely just barely OK. I bought it because I have had other Duck Pond wines that are great, especially Golden Eye.

Nice fruit and very approachable. They include ingredients and serving facts on the label. I’ve never seen this before on a wine and I like it because I know there’s nothing else added. I also love the duck design on the label. Very cool.

Very easy and enjoyable to drink! No oak, light fruit, not a hearty, typical Pinot Noir but good.
